The Shape of Things
The Eagle Theatre
208 Vine St Hammonton
How far would you go for love or art? What price would you be willing to pay? Tony-nominated playwright Neil LaBute asks these questions and more in The Shape of Things, a modern-day retelling of the fall of man. In this provocative drama, a young man named Adam dives into an intense relationship with a charismatic art student named Evelyn. Under Evelyn's influence, Adam finds himself radically changing his life. It's not long before their affair veers into the kind of dangerous, seductive territory that LaBute does best. And it's not until the point of Adam's most shocking exhibition -- which challenges our most deeply entrenched ideas about art and love -- that Evelyn reveals her true intentions. Explore notions of romance, art and morality when this darkly comedic drama comes to Hammonton's Eagle Theatre. Your ticket to the show will also include a pre-show walkthrough of an onsite art exhibit featuring a different artist each week, as well as free wine tastings and other special surprises.
