Hairspray, the hit musical based on John Waters' cult classic film, is piled bouffant-high with dance, romance and infectious tunes, and at the Candlelight Theatre in Wilmington, it also comes with a buffet. Set in 1960s Baltimore, this Broadway smash tells the story of lovable plus-sized teen Tracy Turnblad, a misfit who becomes a local celebrity by dancing on TV's Corny Collins Show and whose passion for justice transforms her into an unlikely heroine, triumphing over both snotty teen queens and racial segregation. The show won eight Tony Awards when it premiered in '03 and has been going strong ever since. Tickets include a buffet meal, including dessert, and there's a full cash bar for drink purchases
