The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane at People's Light and Theatre

The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane

People's Light and Theatre
39 Conestoga Road Malvern

"Once, there was a china rabbit who was loved by a girl..." So begins the tale of Edward Tulane -- an arrogant china rabbit -- and his search for home, family and belonging. Based on the award-winning book The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Newbery medalist Kate DiCamillo (Because of Winn-Dixie, The Tale of Despereaux), this moving adaptation follows Edward as he's snatched from the arms of the little girl who adores him and set adrift on a series of adventures. His easy existence becomes an epic, sometimes painful journey that touches the lives of everyone he meets -- from an old fisherman to a little boy protecting his sister. This new adaptation of the story promises puppetry, music and more than a touch of theatrical magic. Stuart Caden directs this magical production at People's Light in Malvern.
