Curtains

Players Club of Swarthmore
614 Fairview Road Swarthmore

From Kander and Ebb, the creators of Cabaret and Chicago, comes Curtains, the hit comedy that mixes an Agatha Christie-like mystery with the song and dance of a Broadway musical. Set in 1959 Boston, this twisty whodunit tracks the behind-the-scenes misadventures of a police detective investigating the death of a new musical's talentless star. But the stage-struck cop soon finds himself entangled in a romance -- and somehow starring in the show itself as it heads for New York. The thoroughly entertaining Curtains, which scored eight Tony Award nominations in 2007, including Best Musical, Book and Original Score, now takes the stage at the Players Club of Swarthmore.
